SICK - IME Inductive Sensors

24-Aug-2010

Engineered to ensure unmatched performance

IME Inductive Sensors are used to detect metal targets. SICK’s line of IME sensors features an ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) programming chip that eliminates production tolerances, enabling IME sensors to offer exceptional accuracy and repeatability. IME sensors use a Hot Melt filling material that withstands humid areas and provides excellent shock and vibration resistance. IME sensors also feature a higher tightening torque -- for more rigid installation -- and high immunity to Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) signals, voltage and current spikes (burst, transients), and electrostatic discharge (ESD).
