Release 6.4 of the visualisation solution VisiWinNET® from Lenze now offers an improved integrated development environment, and the 'Smart' version also has a powerful scripting tool

The visualisation software VisiWinNET® from Lenze now allows visualisation applications to be created even more effectively and flexibly. The new features in Release 6.4 of VisiWinNET® Smart include support for VB.NET as a script language. With the integrated VB-Editor, users can quickly and conveniently implement custom functions without having to sacrifice the advantages of a graphics-based integrated development environment. They also have access to all VisiWinNET® commands otherwise only available with VisiWinNET® Professional. The scripts are not processed by an interpreter during runtime, but rather compiled as executable .NET-Code similarly to the remaining program code. As a result performance is not compromised during run time.

From Release 6.4 onwards, the integrated development environment automatically adapts to the performance on offer together with the functional range of the selected target system, allowing project engineers to create visualisation applications in a faster and more targeted approach. Release 6.4 also offers users of the visualisation application significant advantages. Alarms are processed more effectively and the system texts of VisiWinNET® are now also available in French, Italian and Spanish. System messages and data such as date, time or temperature can therefore be displayed correctly based on the language area with minimal engineering costs.
