Add Ethernet with World's Smallest Embedded Serial Device Server

The newest member of Moxa’s line of embedded serial-to-Ethernet modules is also the world’s smallest embedded device server solution: the MiiNePort E2 series.

This new development kit gives manufacturers a more flexible and economical way to develop applications using a sophisticated, powerful, and user-friendly graphical user interface while decreasing time to market. The MiiNePort E2 is empowered by the MiiNe, Moxa’s second generation SoC, which supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, up to 921.6 Kbps serial baudrate, a versatile selection of ready-to-use operation modes, and requires only a small amount of power.
The MiiNePort E2’s tiny form factor (only 29 x 17 x 9 mm) and innovative NetEZ™ technology enable engineers to quickly and cost-effectively add Ethernet networking to virtually any electronic device, such as access card readers, meters, and RFID readers, for remote command and control via the Internet. The NetEZ™ technology suite includes powerful tools such as EZPower, EZPage, SCM, AutoCFG, and MCSC for integrating Ethernet capability into serial devices with minimal effort. With the new EZPower function, the MiiNePort E2 provides a versatile system power input voltage of either 3.3 or 5 VDC to meet your application requirements.
The MiiNePort Starter Kit, which allows users to embed the MiiNePort E2 on a PCB board, provides a fast and easy way to test the MiiNePort E2 before actually installing it in your devices. The MiiNePort E2 can be used to convert any device with a standard serial interface into an Ethernet enabled device in no time. With the starter kit, these advantages translate into a quicker time-to-market for our customers as they realize the maximum potential of the MiiNePort E2.
