The VLT^®series of 12-pulse Low Harmonic Drives for the VLT^®HVAC Drive, the VLT^®Aqua Drive and the AutomationDrive has been completed.

The newly released 12-pulse Drives are the frame sizes F8, F9, F10, F11, F12 and F13. The VLT^®12-pulse drives are high power, passive solutions with proven technology that has global acceptance as a highly reliable and effective means to reduce harmonic distortion.

Each harmonic solution product has its own advantages. The VLT 12-pulse drive is a robust solution suitable for any network under any operating condition. All designs are built in floor mounted IP-21 or IP-54 Rittal enclosures.

Connecting each of the two input rectifiers of the VLT^®12-pulse drive to a separately mounted phase-shifting input transformer naturally cancels low order current harmonics to levels near 12%. No special set-up or controls are required.
