Yokogawa Electric Corporation will release the DL9705L, DL9510L, and DL9505L, three new mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO) models that will complement the DL9710L model released earlier this year.
The launch of these new products is in response to the growing demand for mixed-signal devices in recent years. The DL9000 seriesMSO models allow for simultaneous multi-channel monitoring of devices and electronic circuits that handle both digital and analog signals. Together with the DL9710L, these new models give users more choice, and will further expand our oscilloscope business.

Development Background
Every year electronic products grow more sophisticated with the use of digital technologies for increased functionality and performance. The devices and electronic circuits in these products need to perform analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog signal conversion. This is fueling the demand for a digital oscilloscope that offers simultaneous multi-channel monitoring and evaluation of mixed-signal devices and electronic circuits.
In response to these needs, we launched the DL9710L MSO in February. The DL9710L can simultaneously monitor 32 digital and 4 analog input channels, and features a 5 GS/s (giga-sampling/sec) sampling speed and 1 GHz bandwidth, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
However, some users do not need such a large bandwidth or so many logic input channels. We have therefore enhanced our lineup with these three new models, allowing users to choose the most appropriate model for each application.
Product Features
1. Simultaneous Multi-channel Monitoring of Digital and Analog Signals
With the new DL9000 series MSO models, users can simultaneously monitor 16 or 32 digital signal channels as well as 4 analog signal channels. This feature allows increased efficiency during the development and evaluation phases for mixed-signal devices and electronic circuits.
2. Reliable Acquisition and Verification of High-speed Signals
The DL9000 series models can accurately capture high-speed signals at the high sampling rate of 5 GS/s. The captured signals can be saved to history memory, and users can easily redisplay the saved signals without having to make special settings. This function allows users to individually verify captured signals and the relationship between channels if an abnormal signal occurs.
3. Easy-to-view Display
The DL9000 series models vary the display of captured signals according to their occurrence frequency utilizing an advanced data stream engine (ADSE), which is a Yokogawa-developed signal processing IC. With this capability, users can quickly determine the frequency of noise, fluctuations, and other abnormalities by viewing the display: high-frequency events are indicated with a thick line and low-frequency events with a thin line.
