New 12 mm Steppermotor

ARSAPE, the leader in high precision, flexible design micro-mechanical stepper motors complements his 6-15mm range stepper motors by a 12mm design with a package size of Ø12x17.2mm.

With this motor the company makes a paradigm shift in view of precision, torque, speed range and mechanical rigidity. The motor is available in two versions. One offers, like any step-motor a holding torque without current - one has no holding toque without current and offers the higher motion precision.

The disc magnet rotor technology used in this motor is a proprietary design which offers homogeneity of the magnetic circuit design needed to achieve a high precision motor.

The ADM1220 motor offers 20 full-steps per revolution. Due to its' unmatched sinusoidal torque it is fully micro-stepping compatible. This results in a precise resolution of up to 160 steps per revolution. Due to this feature, the motor has the excellent ability to run precisely at very low speeds. The useable speed range is therefore from below 10rpm to over 6000 rpm
