For use in clean rooms or in bulk gas supply systems, WIKA has developed a new design of gauge for ultra-high purity applications. Due to its very compact size, mounting in extremely limited spaces is possible.

The electropolished 2”-case houses an electrical contact which makes or breaks when the pressure either falls or rises. The switching function does not have to be defined during design or at the point of ordering, but rather can be set via simple wiring on site. The switch contacts operate across a wide proportion of the full scale range, and are freely scalable on site.

The gauge, manufactured entirely from stainless steel, meets the requirements of Ultra High Purity applications as well as the SEMI and SEMATECH standards. The units are produced under clean-room conditions, with the cleaning and rinsing of the wetted parts also carried out under clean-room conditions. The gauge can also be delivered with different measuring ranges and connections. As well as the standard version with cable gland, a unit with a receptacle plug is also available.
