The GEMÜ 550, 554 and 507 angle seat globe valves are now also available with clamp connections

The GEMÜ 550 with pneumatic stainless steel actuator, GEMÜ 554 with pneumatic plastic actuator and the GEMÜ 507 manual valve have been available with clamp connections in nominal sizes DN 15 – 80 since autumn 2006. Valve bodies made from cast stainless steel are available in 1.4408 and 1.4435 alloys. Clamps to DIN and ASME BPE are available for popular piping standards.

Clamp connections are mainly used in pharmaceutical, biotechnological,foodstuff and beverage industries with high sterility and hygienic requirements.They are the second most popular connection type after butt weld spigot in these industries. The great advantage of clamp connections is their ease of installation and removal.These new connection types extend the GEMÜ angle seat globe valve product range. Currently more than 140 valve body versions are available which can be combined with electrical position indicators, positioners and field bus systems.
