MAGRES BMMH 30 - Robust Multi-Turn Encoder In Miniature Housing

Regarding compactness, the new MAGRES BMMH 30 absolute multi-turn encoder sets new standards with a flange diameter of only 30 mm. These extremely robust and durable encoders are based on the patented combination of magnetic single-turn sensing and contactless multi-turn scanning. They achieve best values in reliability and durability, while having a high resistance to shock, vibration and temperature fluctuations.

The BMMH 30 opens up new and economical application possibilities in space critical mounting locations - even as an alternative to incremental encoders or potentiometers. The unambiguous and continuous multi-turn position scanning ensures a correct position value at any time, even without external power. This completely eliminates position rerefencing needs. Despite its compact size, the BMMH 30 offers a total resolution of 25 bits via SSI interface.

Numerous connection variants with radial and axial connector or cable output provide maximum wiring freedom. Hollow shaft, shaft and bearingless kit versions with protection class up to IP 69K ensure versatile and easy mounting.

Special features

• The smallest absolute multi-turn encoder (30 mm flange diameter)
• Patented magnetic sensing
• Highly resistant to shock, vibration and temperature fluctuations
• Simple and time-saving installation
