POSITAL announces ACS II inclinometers

POSITAL announces ACS II inclinometers. The devices ensure shock resistance up to 100 g and vibration resistance up to 10 g. Thanks to IP69K protection, they are suited for rugged environments: they resist even high-pressure cleanings and can be installed in mobile machines.

ACS II inclinometers are designed for a wide temperature range (-40 to +85°C). Measuring inclination values directly, i.e., requiring no mechanical coupling to drive elements, the ultra-compact devices generate substantial savings for users. Moreover, measuring several axes with only one sensor can minimize the constructive effort compared with other solutions, e.g. by making mounting fixtures and couplings unnecessary. A simple, very robust design allows users realize cost-efficient sensor solutions for mobile machines.

The inclinometers are available with a ±80° or 360° measuring range and provide a 0.01° resolution and a 0.1° measuring accuracy. In addition to a CANopen interface, POSITAL also offers models with an analog, SSI or RS232 connection. The communication parameters can be adjusted via the interface.
