Integrated Proportional Technology
Proportional technology is now integrated with the CPX/MPA. The Festo embedded bus technology in MPA valves provides this unique capability. This allows for the combination of directional (MPA) and proportional valves (VPPM) on the same pneumatic manifold, with the ability for further digital and analog I/O. These valves can now be controlled by a variety of Fieldbus, Ethernet systems, or local control. In addition, integrated sensor feedback provides the possibility for a closed-loop, proportional pneumatic system. This is truly a new generation of function and system integration.
