Weidmuller introduces MCP Basic Plotter

Weidmuller introduces the MCP Basic Plotter. This plotter produces MultiCard identification markers for terminal blocks, wires, cables and other electrical equipment. It is compatible with MultiCard marker formats, and works in conjunction with Weidmuller’s M-Print Pro software. It comes with a travel case for easy transport and storage, making it an ideal choice for customers with low volume or on-site printing requirements.

Easy and quick to operate, the compact and lightweight MCP Basic satisfies the needs of low- to medium-volume users who print smaller quantities of markers. In addition to printing full or half cards as required by other printing systems, the MCP Basic also prints partial MultiCards. Its special positioning frame can hold up to three MultiCard types at a time and, when used in conjunction with an optional wire marker inlay or frame, can effortlessly print over 160 MultiCard varieties. An optional MCP-Label positioning frame makes it easy to transition from printing custom tags and markers to printing paper and polyester labels.
The MCP Basic easily connects to PCs or laptops via a USB port and comes with the updated plotter controls featured in the newest version of Windows-based M-Print Pro software. M-Print Pro optimizes the process for marking electrical equipment by allowing users to design, import, print and order marking materials. This user-friendly software program is compatible with every Weidmuller printing solution. Customers can use a single program for all their custom print requirements, from Weidmuller’s thermal labels to terminal, device and wire markers.
The MCP Basic comes complete with many standard features. A pen depot with sealing rings allows storage of up to 2 plotter pens directly on the machine. The plotter also includes a universal power pack (110VAC/240V, 50-60 Hz), software CD, cables, frame, marking pen and manuals for both the hardware and software. The heavy-duty case is equipped with wheels and handle, and offers easy storage and transport.
