CAS DataLoggers releases LogMessage Stand-Alone Data Logger. The LogMessage system records data for applications such as remote monitoring, product testing, quality and reliability testing, process monitoring, research and development and fault analysis. This system is available in 7 different configurations that incorporate up to 30 analog inputs with a sampling rate up to 1200 Hz. It provides a complete, cost effective, easy to use solution for data collection, control and alarming in a single compact stand-alone package.

LogMessage can measure voltage, current, thermocouple or RTD sensors. It eliminates the potential for measurement errors and ground loops with universal, differential, galvanically isolated analog inputs. The different configurations also offer a mix of digital inputs, counters, analog outputs and digital outputs. Virtual internal channels allow calculations, statistics, PID control and various other functions.

LogMessage has 1 GB of internal memory to record up to 128 million data points. An Ethernet LAN interface allows connection to a network or PC for configuration and viewing or unloading data. The unit also has 2 serial ports for connecting to other devices or a modem.

LogMessage is supplied with the DataService software to configure the measurements, calculations, control and alarms. The package also includes ProfiSignal Go software for on-line and off-line monitoring and downloading data. The Go software includes drivers for LabVIEW, DASYLab, Modbus TCP, dot.Net and an OPC server. Go also provides alarm management functions to allow a variety of actions including email and SMS messaging in case preset conditions are met.
