MEAN WELL has launched another modified sine wave DC/AC inverter ~ A300-100 series ~ that extends the product coverage into lower wattage field. Along with the existing 150W~2500W product series, MEAN WELL can offer a complete modified sine wave inverter line to fulfill the low cost AC source demands. A300-100 can provide 100W continuously and possesses 150W/3 minutes and 200W surge power of peak load capability.

Using high-frequency circuit topology, A300-100 is light weight and possesses up to 90% of high efficiency. The cola can shape and fanless design make the installation much easier that can be put on the cup holder in the car and no need to concern about the ventilation issue. Through the built-in USB port output, all kinds of small consumer electronics (iPOD, cell phone, PDA….) can be powered or charged conveniently by A300-100 in the car. Protection for this unit is complete: internal fuse, battery low alarm, battery low shutdown, battery polarity, battery over voltage protections for input side, while short circuit, inverter overload, and over temperature protections for output side. The design of A300-100 series complies with global safety and EMC certificates and is suitable for powering many kinds of consumer electronics, home appliances, office & portable equipment, lighting equipment in vehicles, yachts, and mobile homes.
