Pilz is a new member of the German Railway Industry Association (VDB). The association has 130 member companies and advocates for sustainable conditions in rail traffic and railway technology in Germany and Europe. Pilz is using its expertise and state-of-the-art safety technology to support the association’s efforts to standardise signalling and timing technology.

With solutions for standard and safe control technology, Pilz has many years’ experience in the field of passenger transportation: Pilz safety solutions have been used successfully in cable car technology throughout the world for decades.

Pilz control systems are already used in the field of railway technology, guaranteeing safety on level crossing protection systems, for instance.

This year Pilz will be represented for the first time at InnoTrans in Berlin. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to get information on site about automation solutions for control and safety technology.
