Hans Lenze founded our company 60 years ago. Our company Lenze Digitec Controls also celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2006. But these anniversaries are not the most important event as such. What is most interesting is that these two experienced enterprises –both specialists in their fields – got together two years ago, and that we are presenting the results of this collaboration at this year’s Hannover Messe trade fair: our first PC-based automation system.

As an expert in mechanical and electronic drive technology, Lenze developed drive-based automation technology in the 1990s and became the pioneer in this field as a result. Digitec is one of the genuine pioneers in the world of personal computers.It was using PCs for industrial applications right back in the 1980s, and developed PC-based controllers.

Now these two lines of development have come together. The result is a single system all the way from the axis in the machine to the master controller.This is our best birthday present of all.The first customers will already be able to use the system this year.

We do not take our company anniversaries as opportunities to indulge in the past and rest on our laurels. Instead we prefer to use our experience for the benefit of our customers. From here we are looking into the future. We want to grow with our customers and, as a system supplier, we want to become a partner in their future development as well.
