Introducing the new Realtime Express (RTEX) network motion expansions! The RTEX expansions offer highly accurate control of multi-axes positioning using high speed 100Mbps communication. The RTEX expansions along with the new A4N (Minas A4 network servo drives) offer a complete motion solution for the FP Sigma and FP2 PLCs.

Easy and low cost wiring uses commercially available Ethernet cables to create a simple connection between the RTEX motion expansions and the servo drives. RTEX is available in 2, 4, and 8 axes models. The FP Sigma PLC along with the RTEX expansions can support up to 16 axes of motion, the FP2 will support 112 axes. Multiple groups of axes can operate in linear, circular and spiral interpolation modes (2 or 3 axes can form a group).

Very little programming knowledge is required to create complex motion using the RTEX configuration software. Up to 625 motion profiles per axis is supported. These profiles can be created and controlled by the PLC logic or using the RTEX configuration software.
