The New CTD Series: The Last Generation Of Current Transformers by Carlo Gavazzi

Flexibility, safety and simplicity are the main features of this new range of current transformers

Lainate – Carlo Gavazzi Automation, the international electronics Group with activities in the design, manufacturing and marketing of electronic equipment, presents the CTD series: a new range of current transformers that conjugates innovation and functionality.

Developed by the Belluno facility, the main features of the CTD series are flexibility and safety: this new Gavazzi’s current transformers can be connected with all the existing wire terminals and can be installed either in DIN-rails or directly on panels. In addition, the CTD devices avoid any output overvoltage, during the maintenance and installation procedures, bridging the secondary without changing the connections.
“We are proud to succeed in offering our customers this application-oriented range of current transformers.”

– remarks Fabio D’Incà International Product Manager in Carlo Gavazzi – “We strongly believe the CTD series will strengthen Gavazzi’s position in all market segments and help increasing our current transformers sales in Europe and Asia, as well as in North America, thanks to the forthcoming UL approvals”.
The CTD series is the evolution of the TAD family, being compatibile with MCC’s and PCC’s and simplifying the mounting step thanks to its reduced size.
