Klingenberg - During the course of the PACTware Consortium International Roadshow, WIKA will be presenting their latest pressure and temperature transmitters, featuring exceptionally user-friendly configuration and operation via the fieldbus-independent PACTware software.

This is the fourth time that the Roadshow has been held at European centres for process automation: In Cologne on 20th November 2007, in Antwerp on 21st November and in Brielle, near Rotterdam, on 22nd November. The focus of the one-day events will be the presentation of many application examples; giving a live demonstration of the operation and benefits of the universal PACTware™ FDT framework application.

WIKA, one of the leading manufacturers of pressure and temperature measuring instruments, is a founder member of the PACTware Consortium and was a forerunner in integrating its future-oriented products into open-platform system environments, based on the open-source PACTware software. The main products that WIKA will present at the 2007 Roadshow will be the IPT-10 process pressure transmitter for HART, PROFIBUS and Foundation Fieldbus as well as the temperature transmitters T32 for HART and T53 for PROFIBUS and FOUNDATION Fieldbus.
