The European region has achieved extraordinary success and the appointment of a new GM will add to its overall great year.

A native of Germany, Thomas attended Fachhochschule Darmstadt and has a degree in automation control engineering. With many years’ experience in automation, including positions at Siemens, ABB Manheim, Intellution Germany and multiple divisions at GE Fanuc, Thomas is certain to be a welcome addition to the European team.

Citect in the Community

Jeans for Genes
Part of Citect’s driving philosophy is to contribute our communities. This year Citect participated in Jeans for Genes to help children afflicted by a variety of genetic diseases. Jeans for Genes is a major fundraiser of the Children's Medical Research Institute. Money raised from this event goes to fund research to prevent and develop better treatments for leukemia, muscular dystrophy, genetic defects and many other disorders. With one in twenty children born with some form of genetic fault, Jeans for Genes helps millions of children lead happier and healthier lives.

Not only is it a good cause but a comfortable and fun one, too. Jeans for Genes is held the last Friday in August and is a day where everyone can wear jeans and simply make a donation or buy a badge to help today’s scientists research into improving the lives of children.
