Mobile RFID readers HH20 – ideal for logistics

Mobile reading of RFID tags has now been improved with the new generation of HH20 handhelds.

The devices in cell phone format have a graphical display, direct control with variable menu buttons, and permit client-specific program sequences.

Anyone familiar with operating a cell phone will also intuitively manage the HH20 family. Client-specific programming takes place via Java Script and can be used for applications such as inventories or for servicing.

This product family covers 3 different frequency bands at the same time: 125 kHz, 250 kHz and 13.56 MHz.

Several choices are available for the “upward” interface: Bluetooth, PS2 keyboard integration, serial transmission or USB interface.

Data can also be stored on the fly and downloaded later. For the handle, there is a choice between a very slim design (as shown) or an industrial variant that can easily survive a fall onto a hard floor. The industrial handle can be inserted into a wireless charging pod providing automatic battery charging and data downloads.

This mobile solution is an ideal addition to our universal IDENT Control identification system. It can operate different RFID systems with a single evaluation unit.

The same housing also provides a solution for applications with printed or directly marked 1D and 2D codes.

The new RFID handhelds for 125 kHz, 250 kHz and 13.56 MHz perfectly meet all requirements of production and logistics.
