Designed around a very user-friendly GUI, LogixView revolutionizes the process of programming by introducing an intuitive Windows-like drag-and-drop interface. Based on Microsoft's .NET technology, developed on Microsoft Visio Studio 2005, and fully supporting the entire ADAM.NET class library, LogixView supports diverse functionality for working on Advantech modules. In the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) market, LogixView is the first GUI-based Human Machine Interface (HMI) development software kit to the market.

LogixView provides straightforward operating interface, rather than traditional and time-consuming DOS-based environment. LogixView is a modern development kit with diverse advantages. First of all, LogixView eliminates the pain of coding standard functionality and reducing work loading for data acquisition. Users can easily learn the software and program customized control devices for such product lines as ADAM, UNO and HMI. Meanwhile, users can simply drag and drop the components into a Visual Studio.NET project and change the properties of the components to make their programs run as demands. In other words, users with LogixView no longer need to write code line by line for data acquisition, but can simply concentrate on programming logic and event handling.

Moreover, the LogixView is not only compatibility all ADAM.NET class library for accessing ADAM series product, but also provides advanced more functionality for user to develop the GUI (graphic user interface). LogixView can turn the analog value to versatile information needs. Some of LogixView functionality are as following, for instance, display the analog value by the needle (AdamMeter), turn the analog value to trend chart (AdamTrend), different images and strings to indicate ON or OFF status (AdamSwitch), display a LED like number which will be integer, floating number, and time (AdamNumLed), and AdamIndicator display the progress or quantity percentage, and so on.

Mull over the compatibility environment, LogixView can be performed on the Microsoft Windows 98 / CE / NT 4.0/2000 / XP. At the same time, LogixView supports various protocols, such as Modbus/RTU, Modbus/TCP, ADAM Protocol, and Local IO Modules (for ADAM-5550 Series) and can work well in ADAM, UNO, and HMI products.
