Citect, one of the world's largest real-time intelligence and industrial automation software companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Christopher Crowe as Chief Executive Officer effective 1st April, 2008.
Mr. Crowe takes over the helm for Citect from Mr. John Ross who has announced his retirement after over 38 years within the electrical industry environment. With a wealth of automation and control experience spanning some 22 years, Mr. Crowe previously held the position of Vice President Global Sales & Services for Citect and has also held a number of executive positions with Schneider Electric (Australia) over the past decade including General Manager Sales, General Manager Automation and General Manager Marketing. In his earlier years, Mr. Crowe worked with a number of automation solution companies such as Analog Devices, Yokogawa, Intellution and Wonderware, among others. Celebrating both their 35 year anniversary and CitectSCADA’s 21 year history this year, Citect has long been a key player in the automation world.
