The 2008 Frost & Sullivan Technologies Awards will be held here, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, on the 24th of April, 2008. This prestigious event is being celebrated for the first time in Malaysia, after the first two such events were held in Singapore in 2006 and 2007.

Selection Process & Criteria

The Awards seek to showcase best practices in the industry segments which are synonymous with Frost & Sullivan’s in-depth analysis and coverage of these industries. In keeping with their time-honoured commitment to the pursuit of excellence and innovation, the Awards made are carefully reviewed and evaluated to reflect the current market landscape and include new emerging sectors. The Awards are based on extensive market engineering tools evolved by Frost & Sullivan. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research in order to identify best practices in each industry.

Participants

Both of the previous events were resounding successes, and attracted a host of movers and shakers from the various industries located in the Asia Pacific region. They came not only to celebrate with Award recipients, but also to network and create business opportunities. Altogether, 28 diverse and extensive Awards were given to outstanding Companies operating within the industries identified previously. Amongst the attendees were Group/Company Presidents, Chief Executive Officers, Executive Directors, and, Country and Regional Managers. A host of editors and journalists representing regional trade publications were also present to report on the happenings at the Awards Ceremony.
