Internet-based server/client technology

The scope of data that can be accessed by the web-based portal is extensive and includes macros of sub-circuits, assembly drawings, function templates for an intelligent device selection, international designations, preview images and entire manuals. The portal is controlled via server/client software. The client provides an additional navigator locally in the EPLAN user interface, allowing users to select components directly from the server with all of the convenient functions of a web application, and insert them into their project or the system environment.

Simply faster project planning

The devices are easily inserted by using drag-and-drop. Using the portal not only makes searching individual manufacturer catalogues unnecessary, it also eliminates the need to type in part numbers or create one’s own macros.
