The inductive proximity sensor from the inventor

However, with the new VariKont® inductive proximity sensor, Pepperl+Fuchs has once again set the standard by which other developers in this field will be measured. In addition to improvements in the electrical properties, the durability and reliability under extreme conditions in the tough everyday world of industry have been raised even higher.

The main objective is to guarantee the user smooth operation of his systems and machinery during project planning, installation, and maintenance. The new VariKont® was not only perfected on the inside but also on all corners and edges. The patented 4-corner LEDs guarantee all-around visibility and the improved EMC behavior reduces sensitivity to external influences.

The inductive sensor with switching distances of 20 mm with flush and 40 mm with non-flush installation is characterized by a compact structure and simple installation. The optimized housing for higher UV resistance and IP67 and IP69K degrees of protection are standard.
