The cost-effective COM Express™ module Express-NR is based on the Mobile Intel® 945GME Express Chipset and supports Intel® 642 architecture
ADLINK Technology, Inc. (TAIEX: 6166), a global provider of trusted embedded products, releases the newest member of its Computer-on-Module family, the Express-NR, a COM Express™ Type 2 module and supporting the Intel® Core™2 Duo, Core™ Duo and Celeron® M processors. Based on the Mobile Intel® 945GME Express Chipset, the Express-NR has very low power-consumption and is specially designed to facilitate speedy development of semi-custom designs. ADLINK's Express-NR is ideal for entry level industrial applications such as medical diagnostic equipment, industrial automation, gaming, POS (Point-of-Sales), mobile computing and transportation markets. The Express-NR provides complete graphics performance with CRT, single/dual channel 24-bit LVDS and TV-out (SDTV and HDTV). It supports up to 4 GB of DDR2 667MHz memory with dual SO-DIMM sockets and provides extensive expansion capabilities with one PCI Express® x16 bus and five PCI Express® x1 or one PCI Express® x4 bus. A single onboard 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet port, one Serial ATA port, one single Parallel IDE channel and up to eight USB 2.0 ports round out the Express-NR's multi-I/O features. ADLINK is a pioneering leader in research and development of COM Express™ and ETX® products. The ADLINK Computer-on-Module product family also includes the server class Express-DW400 module, and the Express-MC800 which supports excellent graphic performance.

This product line will include the Express-MLC which utilizes the extremely low power consumption Intel® Atom™ processor, thus enabling the new ultra mobile market; and the Express-AT which offers complete graphics performance. These additions will complete ADLINK's Computer-on-Module family and fulfill all the application requirements of its customers.
