Advantech, celebrated IPC and eAutomation facility provider, has picked up multiple industrial awards—from eg3.com, “Editor’s Choice” of the Tech Choice Awards 2008, “Readers’ Choice Award” from Control Design Magazine, and, last but most notably, Intel’s prestigious 2008 “Award of Excellence Growth in Co-selling Revenue and Funnel,” a testimony to the success of Advantech’s technological strengths and distinguished service.
Win-win with Intel
Upon its selection as a Premier Member of the Embedded & Communications Alliance (ECA) in June, 2008, Advantech collected the “Award of Excellence Growth in Co-selling Revenue and Funnel” from Intel. The award acknowledges those dealers and partners among Intel’s Premier Partners whohave generated impressive marketing output and network operation achievements in the past year.
Advantech CTO Jeff Chen observes, “Advantech and Intel have worked together for many years on developing finer, more advanced embedded computers. Along the way, Advantech’s efforts had been affirmed, from being selected as an ECA Premier Member, to earning the ‘Award of Excellence Growth in Co-selling Revenue and Funnel.’ These awards indicate that Advantech has successfully met Intel’s highest standards–from product quality, design capabilities, production capacities to product support–becoming a vital partner to Intel in multi-core technology and the embedded computer market. These awards also attest to Advantech’s commitment to the global embedded computer sector.”
More Kudos for Advantech
Also noteworthy, eg3.com has conferred the distinguished “Editor’s Choice” on Advantech’s Embedded Core Services (Emb’Core), saluting Advantech’s accomplishments in integrating embedded soft- and hardware solutions to fulfill embedded service values. These endeavors provide effective, one-stop, soft- and hardware solutions, bolstering clients’ competitiveness in the vertical market.
Control Design, a US-based trade magazine, declared Advantech the top winner of the 2008 “Readers’ Choice Award” in the embedded single board category. The survey polled readers with industrial automation backgrounds who make decisions in picking and buying products. Advantech was the top choice in the embedded single host board category, garnering 25% of the votes out of 15,000 surveys. This made Advantech a three-time winnerof the Control Design Readers’ Choice Award; people-in-the-know vote for Advantech’s embedded computer technology and service quality.
No Time to Rest on Laurels
Earning such prestigious awards from Intel, eg3.com, and Control Design reaffirms Advantech’s status as a proven leader in the embedded computers and single host boards sector. The company vows to continue to work closely with Intel to explore pioneering solutions, expand market visibility and application versatility. Advantech will also research and develop innovative technologies to offer visionary, optimal platforms to the industry and stretch industrial computers’ embedded application adaptability in the hope of maximizing product value for its clients. Despite economic adversities, Advantech’s growth engine is in full gear to discover new product and marketing possibilities.
