ACE-listed machine design specialist, Genetec Technology Bhd, has secured new orders totaling RM27 million from its existing clients, global players in the hard disk drive and automotive industries, to manufacture machinery and equipment.

The orders have boosted Genetec’s orderbook to approximately RM46 million and is expected to contribute positively to the company's financial year ending March 31, 2010 (FY2010) and FY2011.

In a statement today, Managing Director KW Chin said: "Our order book has been boosted by the strong demand from clients and it is a reflection of the improvement of the global economic landscape.

"It also reaffirms our position as a capable and reliable supplier of automation solutions in the hard disk drive industry."
