MTA VIETNAM2009 Surpassed Participants’ Expectations
  


Vietnam, 21 July 2009 – The mood was buoyant after four days of brisk business as MTA VIETNAM2009 drew to a close on 11 July 2009.  7,270 trade visitors turned up at Vietnam’s most comprehensive manufacturing solutions trade event to check out first-hand the latest technologies showcased by more than 234 exhibiting companies.  81 per cent of the exhibiting companies hailed from 20 countries / regions and included nine international group pavilions from Germany, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.


 MTA VIETNAM2009 is grateful for the continued support and confidence  from our co-organiser the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry / VCCI Exhibition Services Co Ltd., the Vietnam Government, industry partners, exhibitors and visitors,” said Mr. William Lim, Project Director of MTA VIETNAM2009 from show organiser, Singapore Exhibition Services.  “Without them, we would not be able to put on such a wide-ranging show of quality machine tools and solutions, and bring to Vietnam a platform that promotes trade, knowledge gathering and technology advancement for the manufacturing industry.”  

The opening of MTA VIETNAM2009 witnessed the attendance of many distinguished officials, including Mr. Hoang Van Dung, First Vice Chairman of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Phan The Hao, Representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Pham Thien Nghe, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Electronic Industries Association; Mr. Nguyen Mong Hung, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Automation Association; and Department of Industry and Trade representatives from the following Provinces in Vietnam – Can Tho, Binh Duong, Long An, Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh Long.  


75 group delegations from local enterprises across Vietnam’s manufacturing sectors attended MTA VIETNAM2009 to learn about the latest machine tools and catch live product demonstrations from leading manufacturing players from Vietnam and overseas.   The delegations came from Duytan Plastics; Furukawa Automotive Parts Vietnam Inc; Furukawa-Sky Aluminum (Vietnam) Inc; Furukawa Electric Group; Hariki Precision Vietnam; High Command of the Engineers, Factory Z756; Juki Vietnam; Mabushi Motor Vietnam Ltd; MTEX Vietnam; Nidec Tosok Vietnam; Nissey Vietnam; Okaya Vietnam; Sanyo; Saigon Precision; Suzuki Vietnam; Tien Tuan Pharmaceutical Machinery; Vietnam KMV and many more.  

Exhibitors were happy with quality of visitors, and visitors were similarly impressed with the innovative range of machine tools and solutions showcased by global manufacturing companies.
