Next up, Jacob Dweck, Head of LNG, Sutherland, addresses the global regulatory implications for offshore operations as a result of the Macondo incident in the Gulf of Mexico. A regional offshore forecast closes the Opening Session.
The subsequent technical program comprises two tracks. One track covers offshore exploration and production technology. Session topics include well construction & drilling operations, production optimization, risk management, regional challenges, flowlines & pipelines, and construction & installation. The second track – LNG – is new for 2011. Session topics include commercial and trade issues, supply, markets, analyses, and technology.
