08-Jun-2010

Messe München International’s revised strategy in India for electronica India and productronica India has proved its success. The fairs have been adapted from electronica and productronica in Munich - the world's leading electronics trade fair brands. The dedicated shows clearly illustrate the different contents of the two current trade fair segments, i.e. electronic components and electronics products.

The 10th anniversary of India's number one electronics trade fair, electronica India and productronica India 2009, gave a boost to the Indian and international electronics industry. Exhibitors across the spectrum of the electronics hardware and production technology were present under one roof at the trade fair held in Bangalore between September 8 and 11.

Over 825 exhibitors and represented companies from 25 countries were present in two halls at this spectacular event. Countries like Germany, Taiwan, Singapore and China had their own pavilions. A high number of electronics industry representatives used the show as an opportunity for networking and business transactions in a resurgent economy. All together the show attracted more than 10,350 visitors and 4,950 attendees, i.e. more than 15.300 focussed attendees in all. With more than 400 delegates from over 100 companies participating in the two accompanying high profile conferences, electronica India and productronica India 2009 once again maintained its rating as the No 1 show; a MUST ATTEND for anyone in the electronics hardware industry. With diverse topics as EMS/Contract Manufacturing, Automotive Electronics, participation of leading global experts, it remains THE SHOW for the electronics industry in the South Asian region.
